Position: Mechanical & Welding QA/QC Inspector

Requirements:

Minimum 8 years of total experience, with at least 3 years in the GCC region.
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DAE Mechanical).
CSWIP 3.2.2 certification for Mechanical Inspectors OR CSWIP 3.1.1 AND BGas certification for Mechanical Inspectors (Both certifications preferred).

Strong understanding of mechanical inspection techniques and welding quality assurance/control standards.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies or defects in mechanical and welding processes.
Good communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with project teams.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adhere to project deadlines.

- Basic Salary: QR 7500
- Fixed Overtime: QR 1000

Responsibilities:

Conduct mechanical inspections and welding quality assurance/control activities according to project specifications, codes, and standards.

Perform visual, dimensional, and non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections of mechanical components, structures, and welds.
Review and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Document inspection findings, including discrepancies, defects, and non-conformities, and generate detailed inspection reports.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Monitor and evaluate welding procedures, techniques, and equipment to maintain quality standards and efficiency.
Participate in pre-inspection meetings, project kick-off meetings, and client inspections as required.

Provide guidance and support to project teams on quality-related matters and best practices.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
